Knowledge in the Islamic Perspective

The Arabic word ‘ilm’ often translated as knowledge implies knowing about something. It can mean learning, acquaintance, perception or technical know how about anything. The two major sources of knowledge in Islam is Quran and hadees.
Prophet Muhammad(SAW) commanded knowledge upon all muslims and urged them to seek knowledge as far as they could reach and and to seek it all the time.
